The Cameron Highlands areas were initially discovered by William Cameron in 1885, occupying an area of 712.8 square kilometers. Cameron Highlands is approximately 200 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur. Developed in the 1930s this place is one of the oldest tourist spots in Malaysia.
The name of Cameron Highland comes from the British explorer and Geologist, William Cameroon who were ordered by the colonial government to map out the Pahang-Perak border in 1885. 40 years later, Sir George Maxwell visited the place to see if it could be turned into a resort. He spent days surveying the area. 

The climate of Cameron Highland is on the border between subtropical highland climate and tropical rainforest climate. The temperatures are rarely higher than 25°C but can drop as low as 9 °C.
Tea and strawberry are the plants that can be found in Cameron Highland as they cannot survive in most of the places in Peninsular Malaysia. Other than apples, oranges, watermelons, and grapes are also types of fruits that grew on Cameron Highland. Fresh vegetables such as chili, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, brinjal, tomato, and green beans also can be found.

Itinerary
0700: Pick up from any big hotel in Kuala Lumpur
0730: It will take at least 2 hours to get to Tapah in Perak.
0930: Visit the handmade basket factory
1030: Visit Lata Iskandar Waterfall
1130: Stopover at Aborigines Village, visit Aborigines' houses, and watch the demonstration of blowpipes. Visitors can use this opportunity to try out the blowpipes.
1230: Head to Tea Plantation and Factory. (Documentary about tea will be displayed, visitors are allowed to spectate the processing of the tea leaf. Visitors can use this opportunity to taste or even purchase a variety of tea with different flavors.
1400: Local lunch (Guest can choose local Chinese / Indian food)
1500: Stop at Strawberry Farm, Vegetable Farm, Bee Farm, Honey Cactus Garden, and Butterfly Garden.
1600: Head back to Kuala Lumpur.
1900: Estimation of time to reach Kuala Lumpur.

The Tea Factory is open except on Monday.
