Cameron Highlands is one of Malaysia’s most famous highland retreats, located in the state of Pahang, about 200 km from Kuala Lumpur (approximately 3–4 hours by car). Perched at an altitude of 1,100 to 1,600 meters above sea level, the area enjoys a cool climate with temperatures ranging between 14°C to 24°C throughout the year — making it a refreshing escape from the tropical heat.

It was named after Sir William Cameron, a British surveyor who discovered the plateau in 1885 during the colonial period. Today, Cameron Highlands is a unique blend of English countryside charm, lush green tea plantations, and vibrant local culture.
